What’s Next for Your CS1000?

If you have a CS1000 or Communication Manager (CM), you’re probably still satisfied with its reliability.  But at the same time, you may be wondering about a migration path that will allow you to take advantage of new features and capabilities without disrupting your current operations.

“Now is an ideal time to modernize what you have today,” said Michal Kuch, senior director, Solutions Marketing, Avaya. “With Avaya Aura or IP Office, you can do true unified communication (UC) and bring video, chat and IM, along with voice, to a single platform. It’s a straightforward approach to the future.”

Kuch is presenting a session on “Next Steps for CS1000 Customers” at Avaya ENGAGE 2019 in Austin. You can add this session (#908) on Tuesday, January 22 at 9:45 am to your conference schedule. It will cover topics like UC and contact center applications, messaging, cloud and migration strategies.

“The CS1000 doesn’t have a lot of good mobile options,” said Roger Wallman, senior manager, Solutions Marketing, who will also be at the session. “Our new platforms enable you with mobile apps so you can carry your extension with you on a mobile phone or tablet, giving you much more mobility, and going far beyond telephony.”

For example, a large U.S. hospitality firm recently migrated to the Avaya Aura platform to handle all their customer experience channels and go beyond voice, Wallman said. “It gives their agents visibility into the entire customer journey across all channels. Also through a full SDK with Avaya Breeze, the organization is able to model, build, and deploy unique customer facing capabilities quickly and extend them in innovative ways.”

Avaya’s Loyalty2gether program is designed to help users migrate from CS1000 or CM to the latest version of Avaya Aura with flexible on-premises and cloud deployment options.

“You can migrate your communications and contact center to the cloud,” Kuch said. “You can also lower your communication costs through virtualization and maximize your UC experience with new smart devices and phones.”

Kuch added that Avaya’s Loyalty2gether program allows users to establish a foundation for digital transformation. Benefits or the promotion include:

  • Significant investment protection discounts when upgrading.
  • Comprehensive options for moving to Avaya Aura or IP Office, on-premise or in the cloud, including hybrid deployments.
  • Continued support for many favorite features on the new platform.
  • Special deals on the latest J Series Phones and Vantage devices
  • Credits for Avaya Professional Services to help the deployment.
  • A Breeze Starter Kit to support customization.

“Avaya is also running a special contest at Avaya ENGAGE for qualifying CS1000 or CM customers,” Kuch said. You could win a free Loyalty2gether upgrade up to $100,000 list price (grand prize), a $10,000 discount off a Loyalty2gether upgrade list price (second prize), or one of ten Vantage K175 and ten J179 devices (third prize). Here are the contest rules and requirements.

“Avaya now offers a range of migration options,” said Kuch. “Take the first steps with Loyalty2gether and bring your UC and customer experience to a new level.”
