Present Your User Experience at Avaya ENGAGE

Have you recently deployed a new solution? Migrated to the cloud? Developed a new application? Addressed a contact center staffing issue? If so, IAUG invites you to present your experience to other end users at Avaya ENGAGE 2023 in June.

Our user sessions are at the heart of ENGAGE, and here is your chance to share your expertise and successes, inspire your colleagues and voice your passion with the Avaya community,” said Colleen Jameson, IAUG executive director. “We are looking for compelling user stories, innovative formats, and unique perspectives that will help attendees make actionable decisions.”

IAUG’s conference planning committee will select around 90-100 speaking slots for Avaya ENGAGE® 2023, which will be held June 18-21, 2023 in Orlando at the Swan & Dolphin Resort and Conference Center. It will have both an on-site and a virtual component, but the breakout sessions will only be in-person.

“We take great pride in creating a solid peer-to-peer educational offering,” added Jameson. “Our conferences provide you with the opportunity to network, connect, and collaborate with your peers in a setting unlike any other. Use this opportunity not only to share your own stories of success and challenges you’ve faced and overcome but also to inspire others who are currently in your same position.” 

Session tracks

Avaya ENGAGE will have four session tracks filled with presentations from Avaya, end users and Avaya’s partners:

• Cloud Journey. Avaya’s unique approach connects existing investments with cloud capabilities. Share the challenges and successes of your cloud journey. 
• Customer Experience. Avaya Experience Platform™ uses CX tools to generate momentum for business. Show examples of delivering effortless customer experiences, orchestrating personalized customer journeys, and using analytics to respond faster with greater insight.
• Employee Experience. This is the foundation for successful CX projects. Show examples of combining information-sharing and decision-making capabilities to effortlessly deliver the best possible customer service.
• Professional Development. How do you balance career goals with managing everyday demands?  Share your knowledge and insights for managing a career in technology, communications or operations.

There are two main types of sessions that have open speaking opportunities: 45-minute breakout sessions and 60-minute Avaya Product Journey Sessions. The conference committee is also open to ideas for innovative talks, lightning rounds, and panel sessions. Submitters should be very explicit as to the type of session, as detail is important. 

Submissions should not be repeats of presentations made elsewhere and sales pitches will not make it through the review process. Partners are encouraged to submit content as well. 

Prepare your submission

The Avaya ENGAGE call for speakers is now open with a final submission deadline of February 3. To help end users and other potential presenters, IAUG is offering a draft submission deadline of January 20 to receive feedback from the Conference Planning Committee and make edits before the final deadline.  Notifications if a submission has been accepted or declined will do out in mid-March.
