By Mackenzi Eisman, IAUG Board of Directors
Manager, Telecommunications, Global Payments Inc.
If you’re coming to Avaya ENGAGE from the Louisville area or southern Indiana, please take a moment to say hello. I’m leading an initiative to start a new IAUG regional chapter that brings Avaya professionals together for face-to-face and virtual conversations that will help us all in supporting our organizations and advancing our careers.
After all, Avaya ENGAGE is unsurpassed for the opportunities to build your network, while learning about the latest and greatest solutions from Avaya and its business partners. In fact, I plan to spend plenty of time in Orlando learning about Avaya’s roadmap and how that will impact our company. That type of in-depth knowledge from the keynotes and sessions will help our team, and support my discussions with our business units.
I’m also looking forward to discussing my career journey at the Women in Technology luncheon, and presenting a breakout session on recruiting tips in the telecom space. Hopefully, some of the things I’ve learned will be helpful and contribute to IAUG’s spirit of collaboration.
Since joining the board last year, I’ve met many amazing IAUG leaders and members. It’s really a pleasure to be active volunteer on the WIT committee and the contact center council, while supporting the Atlanta chapter where our headquarters is based. So, please look me up at Avaya ENGAGE and share our ideas and practical solutions. It will be a high-energy conference – and I can’t wait to be there!
