A Look Inside Carousel’s Momentous 2019 Avaya ENGAGE

It was a big 2019 Avaya ENGAGE for Avaya partner Carousel, as they provided what they “The Carousel Experience” at their booth, but also, not to bury the lede, they received the prestigious honor of winning the Avaya Partner of the Year in front of thousands of ENGAGE attendees.

Avaya presented Carousel leadership with U.S. Overall Partner of the Year, a prestigious award honoring Carousel’s outstanding sales growth in 2018. According to an Avaya press release, Carousel’s “sales staff of more than 250 field and 40 inside sales associates hold over 100 midmarket certifications. Carousel’s midmarket success is due to its vertical expertise, loyal customer base, growth-focused sales force, and deeply-rooted strategic relationship with Avaya.”

Jim Marsh, Chief Revenue Officer of Carousel, was excited about Carousel’s continued success.

The feeling was mutual with Avaya’s Vice President of U.S. Channels Gary Levy.

A diamond-level Avaya partner and gold-level sponsor of the event, the Carousel team busily entertained clients at our booth, themed “Welcome to The Carousel Experience.” The booth was a destination, a place for weary attendees to “recharge” and “power up” their batteries with a massage or indulge in craft coffee drinks prepared exclusively for them. They also could sit, relax, and recharge their electronics at our powered couches.

Throughout Carousel’s time at Avaya ENGAGE, Carousel engineering team and account executives took time with clients and prospects to walk through their collaboration and cloud strategies for 2019. Many in-booth, one-on-one sessions between clients, attendees, and Carousel subject matter experts yielded high energy conversations about challenges and opportunities in which Avaya technology could be a prime solution. Carousel Senior Director Tony McQueen and System Manager Jim Middleton also shared their expertise to packed crowds about Avaya and Office 360 and Avaya Aura infrastructure security respectively.
